Copyright protection in terms of satellite broadcasting
Date: 13/10/2011Under the judgement of the European Court of Justice of October 13th 2011, provider of a satellite package is obliged to obtain a consent from the owners of copyright and related rights if they want to intervene with the transmission of TV programmes, unless the copyright owners agreed that the protected works can be broadcasted to the public through this provider under the condition that it will not be made available to a new set of viewers.
