Hygiene of self-service counters in shops selling groceries
Date: 06/10/2011In its judgement of October 6th 2011, the European Court of Justice ruled that when it comes to containers used in self-service sale of bakery and confectionary products, the mere fact that potential buyers could, theoretically, touch the products with their bare hands, does not necessarily mean that the products are not sufficiently protected from contamination, which could make them harmful for human consumption.
