New scheme for reimbursements of services of general economic interest
Date: 20/12/2011On 20 December 2011, the European Commission adopted a revised package of EU rules in the field of state aid to evaluate compensations made from public funds for services of general economic interest (SGEI). In certain SGEI categories social services will be exempted from the notification obligation towards the Commission regardless of the amount of compensation.
